24.01.2022 A very exciting day of racing today. Don't tease Me is venturing to Sydney for the first time to take on tough opposition at Warwick Farm (race 4, 2.45pm, 1000m). Trusty shetland pony, Dominic, has gone on the truck with him as his travelling companion. Roger That takes on the sprinters at Muswellbrook (race 7, 5pm, 900m). Frequent visitor to Abbey Thoroughbreds, Pippi's Pride, is racing in a tough race, the Denman Cup, at Muswellbrook (race 6, 4.20pm, 1280m). ... Will post the results this evening.

20.01.2022 A successful day of racing today with Roger That running a brave 3rd place at Wyong and Don't Tease Me winning his 6th race at Doomben. I don't think that the Racing Qld website provides videos of the races like the Racing NSW site does but if it does, we will post a link later. Champagne and chinese tonight for sure!

18.01.2022 Don't Tease Me looks like racing at Doomben tomorrow (12 December) at 12.30pm. He has drawn a good barrier (3). Hopefully he has recovered from his sore heel and will race well. Should get a good track. Fingers permanently crossed!

16.01.2022 Another raid on the Doomben races today. Dancing Daydream races in Race 5 at 2.56pm, and Pippi's Pride races in Race 8 at 4.55pm. Both seem to have drawn the outside barrier!

15.01.2022 Roger That races today at Wyong (race 5 at 3.49pm) and Don't Tease Me races at Doomben in Qld (race 6 at 4pm). It will depend on how well they have travelled so fingers crossed.

14.01.2022 It was a very exciting day of racing indeed! Don't Tease Me finished a very brave 5th against City-grade horses, beaten only 2 lengths in a very fast time. Pippi's Pride came home fast to finish 5th after being unable to get a clear run, beaten only 2.3 lengths. Watch for him in future runs over longer distances. Roger That tried hard but faded to finish 9th of 12. Hopefully there were will be quite a few more races for these horses this preparation!

13.01.2022 Roger That and Pippi's Pride are probably both heading for a holiday at Abbey Thoroughbreds soon, but first they will both race at Walcha tomorrow (Friday 5 February). Roger That takes on Race 5 at 3.50pm and Pippi races in the Walcha Cup (Race 7, 5.10pm). We have been very busy at Abbey Thoroughbreds with some lovely foals arriving and thriving, and lots of facility improvements as well so some new photos will be posted soon.

13.01.2022 A big weekend of racing coming up! Good luck to Pippi's Pride who always enjoys his breaks at Abbey Thoroughbreds when he takes on tough competition at Rosehill tomorrow (Saturday 2 December), race 3, 1.55pm. Also good luck to Don't Tease me who is tackling the tight-turning track at Gilgandra this Sunday (Race 6, 4.26pm). He will need luck over 1100m carrying 59.5kgs but who knows?

12.01.2022 Wow last weekend of racing may have been a little bit too exciting! Pippi tried hard but found the 1400m at Rosehill too short in that class. Queen of Cardiff always tries hard, and finished 6th. Poor Roger That clipped the heels of the horse in front of him mid-race and dislodged Leanne Henry, who is sore but Ok so far. Don't Tease Me ran a brave 3rd after running into yet another damp track. Dancing Daydream cheered the day up by winning well.

11.01.2022 Don't Tease Me races at Warwick Farm tomorrow (Wdesnesday), race 7 at 5.30pm. Hasn't raced for 5 weeks so we will just have to see how he goes!

06.01.2022 Saturday's Doomben results: Dancing Daydream tried very hard and finished a close 5th, and Pippi's Pride came home late to finish 6th. Both horses travelled well and are safely back in Muswellbrook.

04.01.2022 Don't Tease Me finished a brave 2nd in Doomben today, beaten by a horse who loves wet tracks after a storm meant that the track was downgraded from a 3 to a 6. Hopefully he has pulled up OK and will be back in Muswellbrook soon!

03.01.2022 Don't Tease Me ran out of gas yesterday and had to be eased down before the post. According to the trainer, he had too long between runs and has recovered quickly. He seemed to look very healthy as he devoured grass in a day paddock at Abbey Thoroughbreds today! As they say, that's racing!
