01.01.2022 Are you washing your hair correctly? You'd be surprised how many people aren't! So we've rounded up our best tips to help you get the most out of your wash, colour and style! - Product Selection - Everyone has a different hair type and this is why we have SO many different options when it comes to shampoo + conditioner. Just because your bezzie loves something, doesn't mean your hair will. We love helping you to perfect your hair care routine so pop in and ...have a chat to us if you need help selecting the right products. - Get Really Wet - It's important to thoroughly wet your hair prior to shampooing so you don't waste product. Don't worry if the first wash doesn't lather well, it means the shampoo is doing its job. If needed add more water (not more product). - Shampoo Twice - and really use your finger tips to give your scalp a good ol' scrub! Focus your attention at the scalp, vigorous rubbing of your mid lengths and ends will only cause breakage. The reason we always shampoo twice is because the first shampoo will draw out the oils and dirt from your hair + scalp and then second will wash them down the drain. The second shampoo will lather up nicely and this signifies that your hair is clean! - Don't Condition Your Roots - Hair grows from the scalp so your roots are the youngest and therefore healthiest part of your hair so they don't need conditioner applied to them. Focus your conditioner on the mids and ends, where it's needed most. - Follow the Instructions - Each product is different so follow the manufacturers instructions so you get the most out of your products! Happy Shampooing :-) Need new shampoo? Head to our online store now to shop! This stunning blonde is one of Taylars masterpieces. See more
