18.01.2022 Aberlea residents have been kept busy during September and October with lots of activities. Enjoy our photo gallery which shows the residents having fun with indoor activities like arts and crafts and indoor games, as well as a football handball competition. Residents have also had fun in the outdoors in the nicer weather including some springtime gardening and neighbourhood walks.
18.01.2022 We have only one independent living unit to build to fulfil the community’s initial vision for Aberlea Timboon, but moves are already afoot to grow our plans even further. Advisory Committee chair Martin Van de Wouw said the focus at the moment though was finding a resident or couple for Unit 4 which was recently vacated after the former tenant moved into residential care. That’s a bit of a milestone for Aberlea Timboon as well having the first of our original tenants move... out and into assisted living, he said. So, we would really like to find a new tenant as soon as possible for Unit Four as occupancy of the facility is the key to funding any future plans. Please read the full media release here...
16.01.2022 Yesterday a couple of our staff brought some of their family pets in for the residents to pat, hold and snuggle. We had Cupcake and Snowball (lambs in nappies), Narla the Ragdoll cat (who didn’t want to go home), Charlie the chocolate lab (who was celebrating his 1st birthday) and Paris and Adelaide (the budgies). The residents enjoyed seeing all the animals and loved to share stories of their own pets with our staff.... Happy Thursday!

We remind everyone to go get tested if you have a runny nose, sore throat, temperature, cough or loss of taste or smell. Let's continue the good work so we can get back to a COVID Normal.
