22.01.2022 Barham Dressage & Combined Training Day - - Chico was amazing considering we hadn't been worked very much as I had been really sick. We had also stepped up a grade for CT -... - 3.1 (also my CT test): Chico was quite tense in this test and wouldn't accept the contact but put in some nice work. I'm not sure what I placed or what my score was in this test - 3.3: Chico was so much better in this test and was listening to me. It was a lot more flowy to place 2nd - SJ: I was quite nervous as Chico has never done a round at this height before. They rushed me into the ring which flustered me quite a bit. 16.01.2022 Rochester Dressage Day - - Chico was so good this weekend which a few minor mistakes which is always a learning curve! -... - 3.2: Chico was absolutely amazing in this test, he was listening and bending to score a 78.85% and place 2nd - - 3.4: Chico wasn't as good in this test as the flies had come out and I wasn't riding as well as I could've. He had a massive spook at nothing but overcame whatever he was looking at and we completed the test although he was rather tense. 14.01.2022 Chico at his lesson yesterday and PC today - - Chico was so good at our lesson yesterday. We worked on riding canter serpantine and maintaining the counter canter on the short side of the arena. We worked on our shoulder-in and traverse. We even got a few very tiny steps of half passstill very far from perfect but he gave it a go -... - Chico was also very good at PC. He was a little tense in the dressage but we produced some good work. We skipped XC to work on our certificate book. 02.01.2022 one year since i first had a go cutting - - thought i would post a little improvement edit. i'm still very far from perfect but i am learning so much each time i ride. i am so grateful for my Nan and Alan who allow me to ride their very talented horses I can't thank everyone at the cutting days enough for helping me improve -... - on another note i rode gemma out on a trail ride today and she is sooo fat it'll be boot camp for her to help burn that belly off I have a cutting day on the 14th and a Dressage and CT day on the 15th I have gone up a grade in CT so i'm very excited for that.
