I was looking forward to attending the launch of singer/songwrite...r Abbey Stone's new EP 'Badboys' last week at Bird's Basement, an ideal room to experience this exciting artist live on stage. Abbey has taken on production responsibilities for the first time on this release, her use of synth beats and tight rhythms providing a solid foundation for her thoughtful, revealing songs.
