23.01.2022 Hi all, I'm looking forward to worshipping with you this coming Sunday in person or virtually. The theme I will be exploring is 'Filled With the Light of God's ...Love' exploring 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11. I hope to see you there. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 5 Now when it comes to specific times and dates, my dear family, you don’t need to have anyone write to you. 2 You yourselves know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a midnight robber. 3 When people say, ‘Peace and security!’, then swift ruin will arrive at their doorstep, like the pains that come over a woman in labour, and they won’t have a chance of escape. 4 But as for you, my dear family you are not in darkness. That day won’t surprise you like a robber. 5 You are all children of light, children of the day! We don’t belong to the night, or to darkness. 6 So, then, let’s not go to sleep, like the others, but let’s keep awake and stay sober. 7 People who sleep, you see, sleep at night. People who get drunk get drunk at night. 8 But we daytime people should be self-controlled, clothing ourselves with the breastplate of faith and love, and with the helmet of the hope of salvation; 9 because God has not placed us on the road to fury, but to gaining salvation, through our Lord Jesus the Messiah. 10 He died for us, so that whether we stay awake or go to sleep we should live together with him. 11 So strengthen one another, and build each other up, just as you are doing.

10.01.2022 Every time I walk into the wards to visit patients, I know that God walks with me. He is there in every conversation - hearing and healing. He is there with the... patients all the time, even as I leave. As a chaplain, I am a witness to God's enduring faithfulness. Thanks be to God! #faithfulness #love #mercy #hope #yourchaplain See more

09.01.2022 Can suffering and praise go together? This verse says so. Even amidst our pain, sickness, and difficulties, we can continue to sing to God our songs of praise a...nd thankfulness. It never ceases to amaze me when I bring before our loving God the prayers of those who visit the hospital chapel and write in the prayer books. In the middle of their prayers for help and deliverance, they would sincerely praise God for his faithfulness and abiding presence and for sending many people to help them. So yes, even in the midst of suffering and pain, we can praise God and glorify his holy name. We have hope and we have joy that rest on the faithfulness of God who hears our groans and wipes our tears. The peace of the Lord be with us all. Amen. #praise #worship #faithfulGod #Godisgood #yourchaplain See more
