25.01.2022 Triple M in Bundaberg have teamed up with some of us local musos to create a little web-based concert-fest thingy!! Kicks of at 6pm tonight with each artist playing 3-5 original songs (filmed in iso) and then packaged together by the awesome folk at Triple M Bundy. I think I'm on last up, so not quite sure what time that'll be, but if you don't have plans, grab yourselves a couple of drinks (or a picnic and a blanket! I'm thinking it's an outdoor cinema kinda night...) and enjoy some toons!

24.01.2022 A new original song by one of my old friends from the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. The level of talent there was absolutely insane. Being surrounded by brilliant people working their hardest on developing their talents was one of the best periods of my life. You're still incredible, Chris! 16.01.2022 To my audio engineer, music producer and singer friends (especially anyone familiar with the nuances of my voice) - What studio microphones do you use/love/recommend? I'm getting close to doing the final vocals on my album and I want to find the right mic. I live in the sticks, so I'll be tracking everything at home and going to a studio to trial different mics isn't really an option. I've been recording the demos on a Rode NT1000 through a TC Helicon VoiceWorks (which gives it suprising clarity and presence), but the producer thinks we could get more warmth and vulnerability with a valve mic. Sometimes they can be a bit warm for my voice, though. Any ideas or suggestions?
