19.01.2022 What is Agility. Agility is a fun sport you and dog can participate in together. AGILITY is a competition which comprises of a sequence of obstacles that you a...nd your dog much negotiate to quality. The obstacles used in agility are single bar jumps, spread hurdle, broad jump, hoop/tyres jump, A frame, dog walk, seesaw, flexible tunnel and weaving poles. At a competition, a judge sets a course using these obstacles that the dog has to complete. To gain a qualification, the dog must not only make no mistakes on the course like knocking of a bar or taking the wrong jump but much also be under the standard course time ( S.C.T ) The S.C.T. is a time limit set by the judge. There are different levels of competition, from Novice through to Masters, depending on how experienced the dog is. 09.01.2022 This is Pomquest Shake it up RN JD ( Fanta) competing in JDX at Redlands Dog obedience club Saturday night, a non quali she took off on me and I needed to be in front of her at the tunnel. Fanta also competed in novice agility AD and I have no vision of it. It was a quali and a great run, I have been working on her weave and it coming along but I didn’t think she was ready and Fanta surprise me. I have to work on her start line but up the flying drink
