Keep a close on the chilli bush in the centre of the video - the snake leaps out, latches on. and wraps itself around the dog on in the blink of an eye.... Owner Michelle and her 13-year-old daughter Mikayla helped wrestle the snake off Jasper. "If anyone else in our community has a little dog or puppy please be aware of what a snake is capable of doing," Michelle said. Thankfully both Jasper and the python are OK. "Jasper's great. The snake bit his ear but we treated it with some ointment and he’s still full of puppy energy and thankfully he’s still going out to do his business in the backyard without fear," Michelle said. 16.01.2022 A plane has made an emergency landing at a new Sydney airport which is still being developed. The light aircraft landed at the Badgery's Creek construction site this morning after the pilot discovered engine problems during a training flight. The instructor and student were not injured and the plane was not significantly damaged.

Michael Beh from Wellington, NSW, took the bottom photo in November 2019 when the dam was affected by drought and bushfire smoke haze hung in the air.... The top photo is from October this year, showing how much difference this year's rain has made to the dam level and the landscape. "About every six months I get out to the dam and take photos. I'm waiting now for the time when it's full," Mr Beh said. Mr Beh lives with quadriplegia and uses a wheelchair and the assistance of a carer to enable his photography. Fantastic shots!

Two new cases visited the Springwood Sports Club, 83 Macquarie Road, Springwood, and anyone who attended on 12 September from 1 pm to 2 pm is considered a casual contact and must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop. After testing, they must remain in isolation until a negative test result is received. These cases also visited Lawson Oval, Lawson. Anyone who attended on 13 September from 10:30 am ...to 12:45 pm is also considered a casual contact and must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop. After testing, they must remain in isolation until a negative test result is received. People who attended the above venues who are identified as close contacts are being contacted by NSW Health. Close contacts must immediately isolate and get tested for COVID-19 and remain in isolation for a full 14 days after their contact, even if the test result is negative. One of the cases reported today attended the Hunters Hill Bowling Club on Tuesday 8th September from 6:50pm to 9pm. NSW Health is contacting all patrons who were at the venue at this time to review their exposure and identify any close contacts. Anyone who was at the venue at this time should be alert for symptoms and immediately get tested if any develop or have developed since this exposure, and stay isolated until a negative test result is received. One of the cases reported today attended the JB Hi-Fi Penrith Plaza on Sunday 13 September from 4pm to 4.30pm. That means Parramatta Stadium will be able to have 15,000 people at events, the SCG will be able to welcome 23,000 people and Stadium Australia will have a maximum capacity of 40,000.
