25.01.2022 A trip on SUPs up the Nepean River where it passes through Blue Mountains National Park. Glide past the majestic paddle-boat, The Nepean Belle en route to Glenbrook Gorge.

25.01.2022 A chance to go where you probably haven't been before. ONe of the upper reaches of Port Hacking. Times to coincide with the high tide.

25.01.2022 Thanks to SUPAIR for making this useful tutorial including setup and pack away

20.01.2022 Who needs a gym when you can do your workout in the middle of the Nepean River on a SUP

19.01.2022 Message me if you want to find out more.

17.01.2022 Launched from Belgenny Reserve Camden, perfect Spring day, launch point a short walk from car park. Headed upstream against a very gentle current. Plenty of room to move, but never too far from the banks. If you want to do an interesting longer trip, the river can be traversed upstream for about 10km to Menangle. It was great to see today’s SUPpers getting adventurous with yoga and gym.

13.01.2022 A great 5 minute clip covering the basics

11.01.2022 Explore Thirlmere Lakes on a SUP this Saturday. The launch site is a sandy beach, there are picnic and toilet facilities, and if you’re still feeling energetic there’s a loop walk around the lake. Just down the road from Picton and the Thirlmere Railway Museum.

08.01.2022 SUPping at Thirlmere Lakes

07.01.2022 An idea for a SUP trip. Once you’ve got a bit of experience in controlling the board. Incoming tide and offshore wind. Launch at the south side of the Windang-Lake Illawarra Bridge. Near a kiosk that does great coffee. Get pushed by the tidal flow under the bridge and let it carry you past Bevans Island. Turn left and head crosswind to Mount Warrigul landing point.

05.01.2022 A couple wants to experience SUP , but one is full of energy and wants to paddle like crazy, but the other just wants to relax and float along the river. No worries! Just set up a towline. Nylon tape works just fine! We tested this on the Colo River. I was very happy to be the locomotive as it was the last weekend of the school holidays and my hard working darling deserved the princess treatment.

04.01.2022 Stand-up paddleboarding on Sydney Harbour!! You’d have to be nuts, right! With all the ferries, recreational craft, ocean currents, cruise ships, sea planes paddling around on a SUP may seem like madness. (OK, maybe not cruise ships at the moment). But there are some places in and around Sydney Harbour that are ideal. Take Iron Cove for instance. No ferries, not a lot of recreational craft. Usually quite calm waters. And some great sights. Like Rodd Island. Hire a SUP from ABCSUP and plan your exploration of another side of Sydney. Ask our advice about places you can go consistent with your experience. What better activity now it’s warming up.

01.01.2022 Another SUP idea. Iron Cove, a part of Sydney Harbour that is free of ferries and when I was there midweek, free of almost anyone else. Rodd Point launching spot has free parking

01.01.2022 Still some SUPs available for hire over the long weekend. Contact us now for a great deal and become a SUP expert by Monday.
