24.01.2022 Week 2 Parade.... lovely and wet outside so we had parade in the classroom today and we had Sergeant Geoff here to hand out our awards. Our Students of the week for week 2 are Lyndon, for improving in his sight words and reading and Ivar for showing respect, kindness and a positive attitude. Congratulations to you both. Next, our Encouragement awards went to Koby for taking pride in his handwriting book work and Addy for taking pride in her Maths book work. Our Student Leade...r Awards this week go to Josie for being honest when playing games and Teah for being respectful. We have 2 Sight word awards with Max finishing Level 2, 2nd Hundred and Koby finishing level 4, 4th hundred of their Fry's sight words. Our Super Star readers this week are Lyndon and Max on 75 nights and Pippa finishing 50 nights. Dion and Addy congratulations you have both finally received your pen license. Maybe we need to stock up on the white out now. Way to go everyone! Well done . See more
23.01.2022 Week 4 Parade has proven our kids have had another great week of learning. Student of the week awards this week, go to Jordi for being a Super Sleuth in class and detecting Mrs Nielsen's spelling mistakes and Chase for showing diligence with writing his noun groups. Congratulations to you both. Our Encouragement Award winners are Max for taking pride in his writing and Josie for taking her time and care in her writing. This week Josie received a Student Leader award for being... kind to everyone and we had a special award given by our Student Leaders to Sergeant Geoff for attending our parades each week and giving our students lots of support. Our Super Star readers this week were Addy and Jesse who both finished 75 nights of reading and Lyndon, Max and Koby for jumping up a level with their sight words. Congratulations to everyone, you all deserve your awards. This week we also have Max, Lyndon and Bronte showcasing some of their work that they are extremely proud of. Great work guys. 18.01.2022 Week 3 Parade. Another week nearly over, time flies when your having fun at school. It has been quite hard for our teachers to choose Students of the week as everyone has been putting in 110% effort. We have some winners though and this week Our Students of the Week awards go to Max, for always being positive and rearing to go, and Mitch for showing confidence in his maths. Congratulations Boys. Our Encouragement Awards this week go to Bronte for her beautiful book work and D...ion for taking pride in all his work. Leader awards this week have been taken out by Teah for sitting quietly to eat her lunch and Aimee for being nice to everyone. Addy achieved her blackbelt in division with Kicking it Maths, Bronte finished level 11 in Lexia and Prue is a Star Reader finishing 75 nights. Last but definitely not least we have our flying sight word winners with both Max and Chase finishing Level 3 in the 2nd Hundred of Fry's and Lyndon finishing Sapphire in the M100's. So many winners this week and all very deserving of their awards, congratulations to you all. We are also 'Showcasing' some of our students book work on parade so they can show off a little bit of their work that is special to them and they are proud of the effort they have put into this work. 15.01.2022 Week 5 Parade and we are half way through the term already. A bit of a different week this week with both Mrs Scholl and Mrs Neilsen away at conference as well as a number of kids away sick. A big thank you to Mrs Burnham and Mrs Sinclair for stepping in and keeping us all on track. We have some awards to hand out this week and our first Student of the week award goes to Koby for working diligently and taking pride in his work. Next is Jesse for demonstrating improved confide...nce and a positive attitude in Math Mentals. Congratulations Boys. This week our Encouragement award goes to Mitchell for always taking great pride in his writing and drawing. Well done Mitchell. Our Leader Awards go to Pippa for her fantastic socks today and Aimee for playing games enthusiastically. Great work Girls. A special Award this week goes to Lyndon for finishing Amber level in the M300's, so this means he has totally finished the M300 sight words. Fantastic work Lyndon. Showcasing their work this week is Mitchell, Addy, Prue and Pippa who have all chosen a piece of their work they have done and are proud to show it off. 09.01.2022 Welcome to our special week 7 Parade. We are holding it at the conclusion of our Goodwill Games so our parents and families can be present for it today. We also have Sergeant Geoff here helping us out with our awards for parade and for the Goodwill Games. This weeks Students of the Week are Lyndon, for trying to improve his chunking skills in reading and Pippa for being positive in her daily work and towards others. Congratulations to you both. Josie took out the Mind Growth Encouragement Award this week for showing great leadership skills. Well done Josie. This week Teah receives a special award for finishing all her 42 sounds in Jolly Phonics. Great work Teah. Dion and Josie also received an award this week for being Star readers and finishing 75 nights of reading. Way to go everyone.

Our Spectacular Star Readers this week are Jordi on 100 nights, Teah on 50 and Koby and Gemma both on 75 nights of home reading. Fantastic work everyone.
