21.01.2022 Wow...we have some very talented artists in the community. The kids attended a free art class which was put on by the Aberdeen Neighbourhood Centre. Artist & teacher Rodney Swansborough took the group through different aspects of art. They used crayons & water paints to create their art. The kids had an awesome time. 05.01.2022 Congratulations to Frank Heap the Upper Hunter Shire Overall Citizen of the Year. A very worthy winner who is a member of the Aberdeen Lions Club and Aberdeen Men's Shed. Frank is always available to be a part of, lend a hand or help out an individual, group or at an event. Congratulations again Frank!

02.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came along for the Free Bowls Day at the Aberdeen RSL which was organised through the Aberdeen Neighbourhood Centre. 20 enthusiastic people attended and even the non bowlers had a great day. They asked when the next one is. Bowls was followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Hock.
