21.01.2022 TYE BROWNING ALIGNS WITH ABERS. Coburg listed player Tye Browning has joined Aberfeldie for the 2021 season. Tye spent two years with the Calder Cannons in 2017 and 2018 and then went on to join Coburg in 2019, stringing together 5 games at the end of the year. Tye has played in premierships at Cragieburn and we are excited to have someone of Tye’s ability align with our club. We wish him all the best with his VFL pursuits and welcome Tye and his family to the club.

On Saturday the 1st XI sides will be playing for the MCHUGH EASTWOOD CUP. The cup is sponsored by McHugh Eastwood and Frank Dugdale, a loyal support of both clubs for many years. Thank you to Frank and McHugh Eastwood for their support. A reminder that the 1st XI and 2nd XI games will commence at 1pm across both ovals at Buckley Park. We are running a 'Come and Try' cricket session this Thursday evening for any girls who are interested in giving cricket a crack! Match formats are very safe and perfect for girls of all ages who want to learn how to play cricket whilst having a great time exercising and meeting new friends. Matches are held on a weeknight for approx. 2 hours.... Aberfeldie has been very busy developing girl's cricket in recent years and is looking for the next generation of girls to help us fill an U12 team and maybe even an U10 team. Following a year like no other, the Aberfeldie Sports Club is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Head Coach for our 2019 premiership winning Senior Women’s Football team for the 2021 EDFL season. The club is looking for an experienced coach to lead our women’s football program, coaching the Premier Division side in their third season, following an undefeated 2019 season.... As a leading sports club in the North-Western suburbs, Aberfeldie embraces community through fair, inclusive and respectful participation in sport. This is a unique opportunity for a Head Coach who is passionate about leading women’s football in the community, to join a thriving local sporting organisation. Applications can be made by submitting your coaching and relevant professional experience to Alison Crabb ([email protected]). The successful candidate will be remunerated consistent with experience.
