19.01.2022 There are a lot of cold and flu symptoms going around at the moment. This does not necessarily mean that you have COVID-19. If you are feeling unwell with a runny nose, sore throat, fever, cough or aches and pains please stay home as per Government Guidelines and call us to request a Telehealth Consult. When calling the Practice you will be triaged by our reception staff. It is really crucial to declare honestly any travel or contacts that you have had when asked. These tria...ging questions are precautions which we need to undertake to maintain the health of others, our support staff and General Practitioners. Please do not present to the clinic without notice if you have any respiratory symptoms. We thank you for your co-operation in keeping you and us safe.

18.01.2022 DO YOU SUFFER WITH ASTHMA? Understanding your condition may help prevent asthma symptoms and help you to enjoy life to the fullest. Unfortunately, there are no known causes for asthma but certain triggers may set off your asthma symptoms. Triggers may include but not limited to allergens, ie pollens; house dust mites; animal hair/fur; colds and viral infections; smoke (from cigarettes or fire) everyone may react differently to these. ... Please call us to book an appointment as it is important you visit your doctor twice a year for a check up, more frequently if you have any concerns.



17.01.2022 Due to the growing Community Transmission COVID outbreak within SA please do not attend the Practice if you have any Respiratory Symptoms. These include cold, flu, hayfever and sinus symptoms. We ask that you present to your nearest COVID Respiratory Clinic and isolate until you receive your results. FMC and Reynella Respiratory Clinic do not require a referral. FMC is a walk in clinic whilst Reynella requires an appointment which can be booked online. ... We also ask that you attend your appointment on your own unless you require a carer to ensure social distancing is maintained onsite. We thank you for your co-operation. Stay safe everyone.

14.01.2022 We are receiving a high volume of calls in relation to the current outbreak. Please bear with us as we try to assist you all. If you have any symptoms even mild; please get yourself tested. You do not need a referral at all the sites. Should you be asked for one we can arrange this providing you have had a face to face appointment at our Practice within the last 12 months. You have left or transited through Iran or China in the last 14 days You have been in contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 14 days You have been specifically tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results You have left or transited through China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea or Thailand in the last 14 days AND you are experiencing any of the following fever, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath.
