10.01.2022 Hi all Well we have finally made it. The 100th year that the eisteddfod has been running has arrived. Catherine has been busy organising entries and getting ready for the biggest and best eisteddfod in years. While Catherine has been extra busy, she has asked me if I could compile stories and photos from years gone by and make them into a 100th year book to celebrate the occasion. So what I am asking is that anyone who reads this and would like to contribute one or more of th...eir stories to add to this book, whether it is serious or funny and maybe with a photo or two but not necessary please contact me by email with your story and or photo or any questions to [email protected] As much help as possible will make this book something we can all read to remember the good times that have been had at the Abermain eisteddfod. Kindest Regards Brad

02.01.2022 Well where do we start on todays dancing. Here goes, the morning session and the little ones - 8 years and under were so cute and each and every one of them had a smile on their faces whether they won or not, you could tell they just wanted to be up there. The older girls were stylish and elegant again its a credit to the parents and teachers on the way they performed. After lunch was a mixture of a few jazz and tap sections and a couple of groups with the youngest group bein...g 5years and under, they waited all afternoon for their go on stage and was so excited when it was their turn ( very cute ). The night session brought the older age groups and every one of them were sensational, there was a good mixture of tap, jazz ballet and contemporary dances. Congratulations to all the dancers today and a big thank you to anyone who helped out again. Tomorrow is day 4,hope to see you all there should be another great day. Regards the Committee
