23.01.2022 CHANGES MADE TO WHAT SCHOOLS CAN AND CANT DO IN TERM 3 Premier Berejiklian flagged a number of changes to safety measures for school activities that have be...en put in place to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission in schools for the remainder of Term 3. Where possible, students will stay within their relevant group (i.e. class, year group, or stage) for all learning activities within their school in order to limit close contacts to the relevant student group. Interschool activities must remain within the local community or zone. This applies to all interschool sport and physical activities, curriculum activities, arts activities and extra-curricular activities organised or sponsored by the school. Parents/carers and other non-essential visitors are not allowed on the school site. All group singing (choirs) and/or other chanting activities, as well as the use of wind instruments in group settings, are not permitted. Special arrangements are in place for HSC students. School formals, dances, graduation or other social events are not permitted Schools may hold a Year 12 assembly at school without parents to recognise the completion of school. Schools may consider delaying events until later in the year. More information can be found here: https://education.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/advice-for-families

11.01.2022 With the relaxation of Covid restrictions, we are now able to resume our monthly P&C meetings. The next, and last meeting for this year will be held on Monday 7 December, in the school library commencing at 5pm. I would encourage interested parents and carers to attend this meeting if possible. Despite the obvious problems created by the virus and conducting fundraising events, we have had a reasonably successful year, and were recently able to donate the sum of $10,000 to ...the school for the drop-down projector screen in the hall. We can only do these things with a strong and effective P&C. Unfortunately, the attendance at our meetings is usually very low and we are making decisions affecting improved or additional facilities for your children without the benefit of widespread community input. Your contribution through attending the monthly meetings is sought to not only ensure that our decisions reflect community expectations. It is essential that we have a strong and effective association from which to draw suitable nominations for committee membership in the future. We are not asking for volunteers to take on Committee roles yet, but if the numbers of attendees fail to improve, the Association may cease to exist and this would also mean closure of the canteen, which is run by the P&C. Please give this matter serious consideration. Everything we do is for the benefit of our children. Their loss without a P&C cannot be over-emphasised. See more
11.01.2022 It was good to see all the students and teachers dressed up. Hope you all had a great day.

05.01.2022 Due to covid restrictions on P&C fundraising activities this year, we have a large stock of canned softdrink which is past its "best before" date, or will soon be past that date, which we are offering for purchase at substantially reduced prices. The oldest date is 20 May 2020, some expired in September or October, the remainder by the middle of this month. Receipts will be provided and the money will be paid back into the P&C account.
