02.01.2022 Purple Day (26th March) is a global initiative dedicated to raising epilepsy awareness. Purple Day was founded in 2008, by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan of Nova Scotia, Canada. Motivated by her own struggles with epilepsy, Cassidy started Purple Day to get people talking about the condition and to let those impacted by seizures know that they are not alone. She named the day, Purple Day after the internationally recognised colour for epilepsy, lavender. Currently, the cause of ...epilepsy for about 50% of people is unknown. 800,000 Australian people will develop epilepsy during their lifetime. 1 in 3 people will not gain control of their seizures from medication. Also, In my opinion Thursday is the best day of the week, beacuse it is one day away from Friday and Friday means the weekend is here
