24.01.2022 Check out this 5-star Google review just in! "My experience with A Better Ear was first class. The service provided by Penelope and Damien from the initial hearing test through the supply of the hearing aids was very professional. Penelope explained clearly all aspects of the hearing test, answered my email questions promptly and enabled me to be confident in using hearing aids for the first time. A great service from a family owned local business."

13.01.2022 COVID-19 Update You may be aware that aged care workers in NSW and VIC are now required to wear face masks. Face masks present unique problems in an Audiological setting however because of the role lip reading plays in communications. The Australian Governments COVID-19 guidelines for allied health care providers focuses on measures to maintain safe and hygienic clinic spaces, where risks are identified and avoided prior to potential exposure to COVID-19.... For this reason we ask that you reschedule your appointment if you; Have returned from travel in the 14 days prior to seeing us Have come into contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 Have any cold or flu symptoms at all, even if they are only very mild. In addition to regular hand and surface sanitisation in the clinic, we ask patients to maintain 1.5 m social distance in the reception area. This includes limiting the time you spend at the counter when not making payment. Finally, should you desire a face mask or would like us to wear one during your appointment please let us know and we will provide them.

But they don’t replace a proper hearing assessment done by a qualified audiologist. It’s best to think of them as a screening test not a diagnostic test. Here’s what you need to know about online hearing tests https://loom.ly/cRDf4o0... #hearing #hearingtests #hearingtest #hearingassessment #onlinehearingtest #abetterear #audiologist *All information is general in nature.
