12.01.2022 The many talents of Abfab Women. We have dress makers, cooks, singers, knitters and quite a number of very talented artists within our Abfab team Polly Morwood is an independent illustrator creating works in a multiple of mediums including, print media, painting and embroidery. Her aesthetic revolves around exploring the female figure, wonder and insecurities of being a women. ... I recently purchase a piece of her work. The framed piece. I love it These are just a few of her other pieces. Get in contact with Polly if you are interested in purchasing or seeing more of her unique work.
12.01.2022 And that’s an Abfab wrap for 2020 You can plan all you like for the year ahead and sometimes your plans get turned upside down. We are forced to modify, learn, go out of our comfort zone and adapt to our new environment and then just get on with it. Luckily Women do this very well. AS: ... We are STRONG, We are INVINCIBLE We are WOMEN I loved seeing your smiling faces on line each day. You kept me sane, gave me purpose, I learnt lots of new computer skills and ways to exercise and I feel fitter and stronger than at the beginning of 2020. You can bend but never break us 'Cause it only serves to make us More determined to achieve our final goal. And that we did as best we could. In saying all of that it was great to see so many of you in person at our gathering on Tuesday night. Once again, see how quickly we adapted to a mini crisis. As it turned out it was much more pleasant and calmer at my place Have a great Xmas and new year Team Abfab. Keep an out for the POP UP on line classes starting mid January .

01.01.2022 Hello Abfab Community As you are aware we have moved to stage 1 of the Governments Covid road map to recovery which allows Abfab to run small outdoor boot camps of no more than 10 people. For a number of reasons including the logistics of running bootcamps, the unpredictable cooler weather and the health and safety of you all, I think it’s best we remain on line until at least stage two (June 2nd) I see this time as an opportunity to review everything about Abfab Women’s... Training. There is no doubt that on line sessions have been really popular so I will be continuing with sessions on line in the future. But how many ?? So I am asking every Abfab member to let me know what their preference is. These are just some of the questions I’d like you to address please. Do we; 1. Stay on line until the end of the term June 26th 2. Return to the scout hall asap 3. Remain on line during winter and reopen at the scout hall in September for term 4 4. Mix it up with some sessions at the hall others on line. 5. Have the option of coming to the hall or joining in on line. ( I’m not sure how that would work but happy to experiment ) Other issues to address are times and duration of the sessions, content and variety. This is an opportunity to have your say in the future of Abfab so please let me know your thoughts so I can plan ahead. You can respond on this site or via email [email protected] or messenger or text or you can call me Thanks Team Abfab. I look to receiving your feedback Keep fit Michelle
