10.01.2022 Today is International Day of People with Disability. This day aims to help spread awareness, understanding and for people to be accepting of people with disability and to acknowledge the achievements and contributions that these people have made in society. This year's theme is Building Back Better: toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 World. For me who lives with a disability, this day is significant for myself as I reflect on what I hav...e achieved in life and all the people who have accepted me for who I am and I'm gratefully for the people in my life. This year, I have made a big contribution to society which is launching this business, being a support worker and supporting other people with disabilities, like mine. Going into the future I will continue to be a support worker and help people achieve their goals. Ability2Connect still have capacity to take on new clients now and into the new year. If you or someone you know need support, whether it's personal care or accessing the community. Please contact Liam at [email protected]
