17.01.2022 The Victorian Government recently announced a coronavirus (COVID-19) roadmap to reopening for Victoria and Regional Victoria is currently in Step 3. Here’s a q...uick summary of changes There will be no restrictions on the reasons to leave home (though you still need to work from home if you can) You can travel within regional Victoria Up to 10 people can gather outdoors in public places You can nominate a ‘household bubble’ with one nominated household, allowing up to 5 visitors from that household at a time Playgrounds and outdoor skate parks are open and there can be outdoor fitness for groups of 10 people Restaurants and cafes can open with predominantly outdoor dining and a group limit of 10. Under Step 3, indoor fitness centres and entertainment venues remain closed. Face coverings are still required when leaving home, unless you have an exemption. Stay safe! As part of the Mount Alexander Shire Accommodation & Respite Group's https://www.facebook.com/MasargOrg A Home of My Own Project, a community forum was conducted on 5 August 2021. A practical conversation was held about the different options to transition a family member with an intellectual disability into independent housing. In addition AMICUS explained the funding options to support independent living. Able Radio, MASARG and All involved believe this ZOOM session holds important information with moving and practical stories for the wider community.
