24.01.2022 Don't forget to eat some cake and donate tomorrow! Every small donation adds up to support the continued work of the Cancer Council Western Australia. Post pics of your small or virtual morning tea and tag us or use the hashtag #abmtbunbury

24.01.2022 So we have banked the money and pleased to report that our 26th Barrett's Biggest Morning Tea ended up raising more than $21,000 in our 26th year! That brings the grand total raised over the years to more than $330,000. This was only possible with the support right throughout the South West - young, old and everyone in between. And this photo from the day is a prime example. Alexis receiving a cheque from the staff from St John of God Bunbury Hospital who held a morning tea of their own in support of the cause. We are so grateful to every single person who contributed in some way. There are a lot of you!

22.01.2022 Thank you for the donations coming in today on what should have been our 27th annual Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. It is beautiful to know the community is still behind the effort. Don't forget to message us some of your morning tea photos too. Send them to this page or email Taryn and Alexis at [email protected] We know we won't raise our usual hefty figure but it all counts to keep supporting the efforts of the Cancer Council Western Australia. ENJOY THE CAKE!

19.01.2022 An amazing effort by a huge team especially this newly shaved bald guy in red who contributes so much to our community. Ben Andrew

18.01.2022 Over the past 25 years, our event has raised $310,000 and is the longest running in the State. Yesterday was our 26th annual event and we are pleased to report that we raised another $18,000! People of all ages and all walks of life came together for a cause close to their hearts. Our South West community united to fight against cancer and every single contributor to that deserves a big pat on the back! Special thanks to Alexis White for her amazing organisation, patience and passion. Cancer Council Western Australia

13.01.2022 It may come as no surprise that we have had to cancel this year’s Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. We have been running this morning tea since 1994, and over that time, we have made many friends and had a lot of fun serving thousands of guests at our makeshift cafe. This was all to raise vital funds for cancer research and support services through the Cancer Council Western Australia. Over the past 26 years we have raised more than $330,000, and become the only WA host to ru...n this event consistently since its inception. This is because of you, your generosity and your willingness to volunteer. We are acutely aware that the great need to fund cancer research and support services remains and that is why we will do all in our power to make sure we can continue this event in 2021. Should anyone wish to make a donation to the cause you can still do so on this online donation page, however, we do understand this is a tough time for many financially. https://www.biggestmorningtea.com.au/fundraisers/barrettsons
