Brian will be sharing some background regarding his new virtual conductor platform on SmartMusic, relating how this may be a beneficial tool for both String Orchestra and Concert Band educators. Along with viewing a demonstration of the program, there will be opportunity to ask questions of Brian around engaging with students through this platform. With the goal of unearthing and promoting emerging Queensland composers for wind band, ABODAQ is seeking school or community ensemble participants to share in this project. We are commissioning two works: a level 1.5 (2 min duration) and a level 3 piece (3 min duration).
