17.01.2022 Where’s the flavour? Dried spices contain volatile oils that give the spice its flavour. Whole spices are best suited to retain their oils. Once ground, the volatile oils are released which provides a kick of flavour. However, this also means that if the ground spices are not used, the flavours are being lost and their volatile oils are being degraded by oxygen. Here at Abode Tea we grind our spices to a size that not only releases the amazing flavours of the spices but al...so prolongs them for longer. Moreover, we only grind our spices when you order.
