16.01.2022 Well it is now official - Dreamtime Kullilla-Art will be relocating. Just taken possession of Unit 1/349 MacDonnell Road Clontarf - just across the carpark. Our Lease for Unit 7 expires on 30th June but we hope to be relocated and trading from Unit 1 by 1st May. Will be fitting out Unit 1 over the next couple of months so Cant wait to be rid of this building and its Landlord and we all know who that is .... So looking forward to our new direction for Dreamtime Kullilla Art ..... we are not just a Retail Shop/Gallery we are the whole Cultural Experience ... the one stop cultural shop so.... keep watching this space

I have campaigned long and hard even got sued for standing up for cultural integrity .... had Birubi Art brought before the ACCC for fake art and fined for $2.3m only to have them go into liquidation and start up again under another business doing the same thing and nothing happens.... We have had a number of Senate and Parliamentary Enquires into the Fake Aboriginal Art and NOTHING - has gone nowhere We report all the Fake Art being sold and reported to the Authorities and has gone nowhere We have reported Fake Aboriginal Artists and reported to the Authorities and has gone nowhere REPORT to the ACCC they tell you REPORT to the Indigenous Art Code they tell you REPORT to Government they tell you We do and what happens FUCKING NOTHING is what happens NOW Wyatt tells us that the Govt will shortly (what another 6 months) table its response to the House of Reps Standing Committee on Indigenous Affairs REPORT ON THE IMPACT OF INAUTHENTIC ART AND CRAFT IN THE STYLE OF FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE an announce further measures .... FURTHER MEASURES (what a Joke) it will be undertaking to protect Indigenous Artists. WE ARE SICK OF RESPONSES WE NEED BLOODY ACTION ... Harold Thomas studied fine art at the South Australian School of Art in the 1960s, graduating with honours in 1971. In those days he spent hundreds of hours at the Art Gallery of SA studying old masters, especially European paintings. He was driven to learn the techniques of creating mood, drama and emotion with paint. Harold Thomas (website https://www.haroldthomasart.com.au/) The painting below was done in 1967 by the late Jorge R. Camacho Lazo (January 5, 1934 March 30, 2011) he was a Cuban painter. This painting is called La noche que oculta, (THE NIGHT THAT HIDES) painted in 1967, it is oil on canvas 130 x 162cm, it is located in the Cuban Art Building, Exhibition space, Contemporary Art room 1960 1970.

The last 12 months have... been very tough - we are still here and we will continue to challenge ALL THOSE who try to exploit Aboriginal Art/Artists/Culture.
