22.01.2022 With an incredibly successful day yesterday selling over 100 coolamons at the Yarrabah Music & Cultural Festival, we are absolutely exhausted this morning but are so happy with how yesterday went! From Henry & I, a massive thank you to all of our customers yesterday and for your ongoing support, we couldn’t do it without you! 20.01.2022 After much anticipation, Kgari 3 Sisters is ecstatic to share that our Reef Meets The Rainforest painting was selected as one of the designs for the Biocup Art Series! Who are Biopak? BioPak are the first packaging company in Australia and New Zealand to become carbon neutral! One of BioPak’s innovations are their compostable takeaway coffee cups made from plants.... Every 3 months, Biopak selects artwork from Australian and New Zealand artists to have printed on their limited edition single wall and double wall BioCups! Biopak strives to seek artists who’s artwork explores environmental themes. Life certainly isn’t easy at times but patience and perseverance is a personal quality which creates success. ... We are in the midst of a global crisis which has sadly affected the lives of many. Each day we are learning and growing with this experience and with every change this world throws at us we must work together to end this global crisis. 15.01.2022 If there's one BIG thing we're missing due to the social distancing regulations, it's our markets - the bread and butter of Kgari 3 Sisters! Although we can’t be at the Port Douglas Markets until further notice, we still have an abundance of coolamons, paintings, teapots and jewellery available. Due to the changes we will now be offering the option for contactless delivery;... Via post for an additional charge of $10 Contactless drop-off within 10km of Bungalow - free of charge. Every Sunday we'll launch a Kgari 3 Sister's Online Market post comprising of our art pieces for the week. To purchase a piece simply comment "SOLD" along with the number of the piece and we'll contact you via Facebook messenger to organise payment and shipping/delivery. All small businesses are struggling with these changes at the moment and as a small business all we can do is try to adapt with what is going on around us. From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank all of our customers enough who have continued to support us through this. We expect these changes with our business to take time to adapt to but until we can continue business as normal we cannot wait to launch our online market tomorrow! 08.01.2022 It's a long post but stay with us! Wow! What a busy couple of months it's been! With having an incredible year at CIAF 2019 and selling out months of creations in the making we're back at Cairns Central Shopping Centre during the week and you'll also find us at the Port Douglas Markets on Sunday again. We're finally back to being fully stocked so if we haven't met before come and say hi and see what we've created and if you've taken one of our pieces home before we'd love to ...see you again! One of our showcase pieces for this week are our stoneware ceramic necklaces handcrafted by Hendrick Fourmile. These one of a kind necklaces range from $25 - $50 with each necklace coming with a meaning and certificate of authenticity. Hendrick Fourmile is a Yidinji man and great grandson of King Yeinie. His family are the traditional owner of Cairns!
