09.01.2022 These's are some photographs of the contract work shirts with Don and Mary design on the front and back of the shirt. Thought it would be helpful to you to break down the design of the contract's logo. The inspiration came from creating , planning and uniting with having all of the family members idea's in one. The first circle is from creating a path and following on, learning from the past and heading to the future with an open mind. Creating new opportunities and making a ...change in our working lifestyle with having something to look forward to everyday making ourselves feel good and to be active then rather wasting our life with the negativities for example drinking, fighting and stealing. Planning is the middle circle as planning for the future and working hard to keep the family together working as one and planning as one. Making future plan for the contract with having a little of everyone's ideas to drive the contract forward. Planning for future development to see what we can achieve and accomplish. Uniting is the last circle, Don and Mary both talks about uniting as one, one big family coming together sharing their goods and bads but most importantly being their for each other, not letting each other down. Being able to feel comfortable in the workplace with no judgement. Being encouraging to each other and working as a team. The colour for all the circle are traditional colours that Aboriginal people such as ourselves use in our ceremony's. With painting our skin with ochera orange this marks the honouring of our ancients that walked this earth many years ago, hunting and surviving from the land and respecting the traditional dream time story's and following the traditional laws. The white is from the white powder we make from white traditional rain rocks to mark the circle of life, with water. Bringing rain and thunder storms when we paint ourselves. The black represented our tradition, our law and our skin colour, as we are proud aboriginals. Looking at ways to work with community and be one with everyone and willing to give opportunities to everyone no matter where they come from and what their nationality is.
