21.01.2022 Our last Responding Effectively to Quotes and Tenders workshop (for now!) was held in Albany on Monday. The workshop went brilliantly, with so many conversations not only about tenders and grants but also about business in general. A very worthwhile session. Join us as we explore other inspiring Indigenous i...nnovation stories as at our free ‘Innovation Stories’ workshop. 16.01.2022 In the world of innovation, the aim is to create a revolutionary product or service that captivates an audience and delivers a unique experience. In some cases, the best way to develop something innovative is to look to the past. Corey Khan, a Noongar/ Yamatji man from Donnybrook, was motivated to reimagine a much-loved pastime after a conversation with his grandfather. After learning about how his grandfather used to camp on the cliffs of Bunker Bay in traditional huts, Cor...ey was inspired to modernise this practice. Drawing upon his engineering degree, he decided to bring these huts back to life, to serve as holiday accommodation and reading spaces at universities. Corey hopes to soon set up an eco-friendly cultural retreat, with walking tours, dance and song. Emerging ventures like Coreys will find value in our Bunuru program, where we will explore how to grow your business, how to use social media and much more.
