12.01.2022 No 1: We have Gumbii, Gumbii or Gumby Gumby. ( A small tree, long leaves, similar to the gum and such, bitter taste , brown stalk) As a young child I remember when someone was sick even grog sick, Nana would say "get some or you need some Gumbii Gumbii" then always going out on country with either Mum, Nana, or the Aunts to collect what we thought at the time, very bitter and disgusting toxic mixture of leaves and water boiled for ages. I know if maybe I really listened hard ...back then to my elders, maybe I might not have such ailments like Emphysema, COPD, Alpha 1 Antitrysin and Cervical Cancer not to mention being told if I survive 4 yrs I'll have osteoporosis. So I went back to the traditional way and made some up, and 16 days on it, now and I can say I have energy to burn my emotional state has increased, I feel my health has improved and I actually can get a full night sleep.
