16.01.2022 Breaking bad habits can be really difficult ... we can get caught up in how we feel about our habits and feel guilty or over think them. James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, reminds us that as humans we all make mistakes and get off track sometimes. He says, that what separates top performers from everyone else is that they get back on track very quickly. Essentially it’s not what we know, it’s how we apply ourselves, or our attitudes that matter most and determine the outcome. This applies to whether we want to eat better, start exercising, improve our communication or develop a better study routine.

02.01.2022 During this difficult time, it’s important to do things that help us to cope and maintain good mental health. Key things that we know can help include: Set up a daily routine. Plan activities that are fun (such as reading, watching movies, trying a new recipe, gardening, playing games and puzzles ) and that give you a sense of achievement (such as cleaning, completing work tasks, learning a new skill). Stay activecreate an exercise routine that can be completed at home, ...to maintain physical fitness and reduce stress. (Learn to dance Zumba, do a yoga class or Pilates through zoom or Youtube) Eat wellplan and eat a variety of nutritious meals ( shop online, support local restaurants who are offering take away, get the kids involved ). Stay connected with friends and family via phone, chat, email, or video conferencing.
