25.01.2022 We are spending the weekend at the gorgeous Australian Christian College - Southlands campus, learning songs and preparing for our European Concert Tour 2020. We would put the video up, but that would spoil the awesome songs we are preparing for Europe and our Farewell Concerts which will be coming up in June. Watch this space for more details!!

13.01.2022 About FACE is heading to Europe next July to compete in the International Youth Music Festival in Bratislava. We will also sing in Prague, Budapest, Paris and Vienna. Because of this, we are holding auditions on August 18. If you would like to come to Europe with us, we are super keen for you to audition. We just need to know if you sing in tune, what your vocal range is and if you and can learn some basic choreography. The audition is about as laid back as we can make it. Yo...u don’t even need to prepare a song to sing. At the audition, we will start with some vocal warm-ups as a group and then do some individual and group exercises to sort out your vocal range. By the time we’ve done this, we’ll have a pretty good idea of how you sing. Through the ACF, art lovers and supporters can donate. A new song in the pipeline... to hear the whole thing, you’ll need to make your way to the Mount Barker YouthCare Concert at the Mount Barker Rec Centre on Saturday, 21st September at 7pm. Entry is by a gold coin donation, and you’ll get to enjoy performances by About FACE, the Albany City Wind Ensemble, the MBCC Band and MBCC’s Glee Club. Wooohooo!!!

04.01.2022 We are having a blast today on our schools tour!! We have visited St Joseph’s Primary school and St Joseph’s Senior School, and are about to perform for the Australian Christian College - Southlands and then heading to North Albany Senior High school. Hurray!!
02.01.2022 What a fantastic afternoon at yesterday's Peter Watson MLA's Annual Seniors' Christmas Concert, featuring the Albany City Wind Ensemble, the dancers of Albany Academy of Dance, two amazing choirs from St Joseph's College and of course, ourselves! Congratulations to the lucky winner of the AboutFACE raffle (and a huge thank you to Solomon Merchants and Hook Homes and Building Services for donating the gorgeous prizes). Thank yous are also in order for those wonderful audience members who bought tickets and donated in order to help get AboutFACE to our European adventure in 2020. And, no, we're not quite finished for 2019 just yet! Watch this space! :D

01.01.2022 Happy 2020 everyone! We hope that all of your dreams and wishes come true this amazing year. As a New Year dawns, it’s a great time to start thinking about some of the fundraising ideas we’re going to make happen in 2020! In March, we’ll be hosting a fantastic fun Quiz Night. We’ve already had some awesome items donated by Albany Retravision for prizes for our Silent Auction! Thank you so much to Russell and his fabulous team. In April, we’ll be hosting a Massive Garage Sale... - so while you’re on holidays, it might be a perfect time to sort out some donation items. In May, we’ll be hosting a fundraising concert series in Albany. Don’t forget - if you sign up to yourchange.com.au, your online shopping can help our fundraising! It’s really easy and can make a difference! And in June and July... we’re off to Europe in order to compete at the World Youth Music Festival! Wow!! It’s all happening! See more
