16.01.2022 Five years ago, if torrential rain poured down, like it did for Amy & Tim, and a wedding had to be moved to ‘Plan B’, we would’ve panicked. We would’ve been thinking ‘Plan A would’ve made for much more beautiful photos, how on earth can we make this look as good?!’ And then flash forward to now and we’ve come to realise that the setting isn’t what makes photos beautiful. It’s what’s happening two people that are head over heels are finally promising their forevers to each other, surrounded by the people that love them most. The moments that come from that are what makes a beautiful set of photos.

16.01.2022 Finally sent Anna & Deons gallery to them yesterday. They were so gracious with me (Amy). Early weeks of growing a human is harder than I imagined, and they were so lovely and allowed me time to take it slow and extend the turnaround time while I adjusted to being ill & exhausted day in and day out. The stress relief they gave was massive, and it just goes to show how wonderful they are as people. Theyre not just their looks ;) thank you guys. We owe you one.

15.01.2022 Posing is a dirty word to us. We don’t pop you in a ‘pose’ and have you hold it for the camera. How cringey! How awkward! That’s what everyone hates about having their photo taken! We’re all about prompting you with actions and interactions to create some authentic moments captured in a photo. However, there is ONE pose that we start every session with. It’s called The Grandma Pose. It’s the only time we will get you both looking at the camera smiling because that’s the photo Grandma wants.

15.01.2022 Tennille & Drew I now pronounce you husband & wife 2020 is a year of going with the flow when it comes to wedding planning. A few weeks ago Tennille & Drew emailed all of their vendors asking if they could bring their wedding forward. They had family members that had managed to get into Queensland from other states before the borders closed officially! From all of their vendors and guests, they were met with we wouldnt miss it. And boy oh boy, we are all so glad we were able to be part of such a glorious day on Drews parents property. Witnessing a couple so in love tie the knot is everything! As Drews brother said if I was going to judge a book by its cover, I can tell you that this story is going to be a really good read. We couldnt agree more!

03.01.2022 One of our first weddings as ‘About Time Co’ was for Hayley & Hugo. 2017’s Cyclone Debbie tore through their original wedding venue, making it impossible to have the wedding that they envisioned. On the day, their wedding planner pulled through with a plan B, and the day was relocated to a large property with cows and a giant fig tree on a hill. This property is now one of the Gold Coast’s most popular venues @cowbell_creek. Every time we go back there we think of Hayley & Hugo, and how lucky we were to see what we think was Cowbell Creeks first wedding.
