16.01.2022 Good evening, My last trip out to Cherbourg, I was privileged to meet this deadly elder who helped introduce me to the mob in the community and made me feel very welcome. We had a lot of survivors come forward and tell their stories. - We appreciate all the generous support from everyone, especially from the team at Muran Djan centre. Lion and Neredith were very helpful in facilitating us while on the Wakka Wakka country -... Recently we formed about time for justice. What we do is help survivors of institutional child sexual and physical abuse through the whole possible compensation process. We would love to support and advocate for all survivors of abuse. We know how hard it is to start your healing journey. After both starting the process, we have lived experience and can help you walk this path. - If you identify as one of these people, please speak up; you have a voice, and it needs to be heard. You no longer have to carry around that backpack of shame, guilt and anger. Hand it back to its rightful owner, the perpetrator. - This applies to anyone who has been affected in boys' homes, girls' homes, foster care, docks, churches, church-run institutions, missions and reserves, schools. After school care, hostels any sporting teams, and scouts or girls guides. You do not have to be indigenous; we work on behalf of all Australians who may have suffered any trauma in the institutions listed.
