However, this position is circumstantial. Governess needed for cattle station located 75kms south of Mt Garnet and 170kms from Atherton QLD. In this role you will be teaching one very bright 8-year-Old boy year three through Distance Education and helping on some days with before and after school supervision when his dad is out working on the property. Your main responsibility will be delivering the distance education curriculum in a fun and creative way keeping your student engaged and enjoying the at home learning experience. You may need to assist from time to time with outside of school care, some light meal prep and just making sure he is kept safe until Dad returns from work. You will be working a minimum of 6 hours per day with the chance of extra hours day dependant. There is flexibility around working hours in this position. This little lad would love someone who doesn’t mind having a hit of the cricket ball or an afternoon game of soccer, when he is not out helping Dad around the station. You will be paid $25 per hour negotiable based on experience, have your own accommodation away from the main homestead with all food, board and fuel for town trips provided. You will have access to internet and Telstra phone reception on this property. For this position you will need Your own car and driver’s license, working with children’s check, national police check and ABN. Qualifications in either early childhood services or Teaching will be highly regarded but not essential, however experience in this type of role would be desirable. 23.01.2022 New Position Longreach Local needed to help busy family with after school pick up two afternoons a week and some overnights when Mum is out of town for work. In this role you will be responsible for school pick up and afternoon care of two children ages 5 and 9. This may require taking the children to after school activities, helping with homework, preparing the children for the following day and helping with the dinner, bath routine. There will be times throughout the month... that mum needs to travel for work, and you will be required to stay the night to care for the children and get them off to school the following morning. On overnight stays you will provided with your own bedroom fully equipped and a car for use of taking the children to where they need to be. This Mum needs someone who is confident and capable of looking after two school aged children, can confidently and safely drive the children from time to time to and from activities and someone who can act as a responsible role model for the children. These children love using their imaginations and doing hands on activities like baking and craft, so someone who is able to spend time doing these kinds of activities with the children would be ideal. This position would be suited to someone who is looking for extra work or studying and has a flexible schedule. You will be paid $25 an hour you will be required to work from 3pm-7pm plus the overnight stays, you will be provided with a car for transporting the children when needed and your own room plus food on overnight stays. This role is through In-Home Care so you will be required to have your first aid, CPR, blue card, national police check, and be studying towards or have your certificate 3 in children’s services and Nanny insurance.

Young, Energetic and initiative driven station cook is required on a family owned and operated cattle station 160km SW of Mount Isa, this family is looking for someone who Is comfortable cooking for a team of roughly 8 people, breakfast, smoko, lunch and dinner, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy and keeping on top of the vegetable garden, chickens and occasional garden care an...d mowing (ride on, zero turn). You will be able to enjoy some time outside of the kitchen sometimes tailing behind the team on musters in a vehicle with smoko on board. You will be working typically Monday-Friday, with the occasional Saturday, but enjoy 3 hours off in the middle of everyday to do as you please.
