17.01.2022 BUFFALO LAWN CARE Mowing - Regular mowing is the key to the health of Buffalo grass. This will decrease thatching and will reduce any risk of scalping and damaging the lawn. The very best buffalo lawns will always be their best when cut at 35-65 mm. Watering-... Watering should only be done in the mornings. There are 3 reasons for this. 1) provides enough water for the day. 2) Watering at night is wasteful due to the water draining away before its being used. 3) The most important. Watering when its not sunny promotes fungal diseases due to the water sitting on the lawn. Fertilising - Buffalo lawn needs a year round fertilising program in order to keep looking its best. Without this lawn care, a Soft Buffalo lawn can lose its colour, health and vitality. Fertilising is recommended every two months. We always ensure the fertiliser includes Trace Elements, and switch to a Winter fertiliser for applications in May and July.

16.01.2022 So many clients who have broken sprinklers or irrigation problems. This time of year your sprinklers should be running in the AM. You can look online to check your watering days. Dont get caught out, your lawn wont last a week. Give us a call for any reticulation problems.

15.01.2022 Were getting inundated with clients needing their gutters cleaned. Clients are noticing water entering into their eves and into their bedroom walls. This is due to water backing up and not making its way down the downpipe. Your gutters should be cleaned yearly just after all your deciduous trees have dropped their leaves. The cost of getting your gutters cleaned is far less than the cost to repair water damage to your home. Were fully insured and very experienced in this area of home maintenance. 09.01.2022 My own home lawn before and after a lawn renovation. Its at about 90% now. You can see white from the washed river sand used to raise that area. The process involves vertimow, mow, fertiliser, soil wetter, more fertiliser, a few more mows in the following days and then some different fertilisers.

06.01.2022 With all this rain around and coming into the colder months its a great time to get your gutters cleaned. Most of my clients do not realise they have a problem until water is coming through their walls. A lot of damage has been done by then.
