25.01.2022 This week's Year 12 Biology prac - transforming bacteria using protein from bioluminescent jellyfish - had us wondering... what was Science like when you were at school?
24.01.2022 To our Old Collegians, we would love for you to join with current students, parents, staff and the wider College community as we honour our ANZACs during a video Commemoration Service. The Service includes a look back at A.B. Paterson College ANZAC Day services from past years, and a beautiful performance by our 2020 Chamber Choir, recorded by 32 students in their homes with audio production by Old Collegian, Alex Fox. Lest We Forget.

If you have news to share, or feel that you could offer an interesting insight into your chosen career that may help and inspire current students, please send an email to [email protected] A huge thank you, and congratulations, to Dominique!

20.01.2022 Junior School Languages teacher, Mrs Sue Walduck is a familiar face to many at A.B. Paterson College, having worked here over seven years, early this century ...even teaching a number of our current teachers, when they were students! However, she was thrust into very unfamiliar territory when returning to our College during the Online Learning Program. Having never met, in person, her Years 2 and 3 Japanese Language students, or their parents, she embarked on lessons online for the first time in her 27 year teaching career, navigating technological challenges and creating informative and entertaining videos, with the help of wonderful feedback from her new students and families. It was a rather surreal, and joyous occasion, this week when Mrs Walduck finally got to meet her students, after teaching them for five weeks! Welcome back Mrs Walduck! See more
18.01.2022 Congratulations to the incredible Mrs Sharon Adams, who retires today after 17 years at A.B. Paterson College! We know many Old Collegians will remember Mrs Adams' gentle nature, kindness and patience. Best wishes Sharon - we know you will enjoy more time with your beautiful grandchildren.

01.01.2022 30 years ago, in May 1990, the contract for the four-hectare site - where A.B. Paterson College stands today - was signed. Founders’ Day 2020 offers an opportunity to reflect upon the extraordinary vision of A.B. Paterson College Founders, who worked tirelessly from the late 1980s and risked so much to establish a uniquely Australian independent, private school on the northern end of the Gold Coast. It is also time to celebrate how far we have come from those very humble beginnings, while always maintaining ‘community’ at the heart of all we do. Please enjoy a little trip down memory lane.
