24.01.2022 Saturday Mini Doodlers (ages 3-6 year old) with their RANGOLI designs! The kids were very excited to use different coloured rice. 23.01.2022 We're doing observational drawings for the next 4 weeks in our "Doodler Plus" classes! Last week the kids did close-up drawings of a chair. They learnt about ANGLES and how to add shadow/highlight using the cross-hatching technique! They were also extremely excited about using charcoal pencils for their shading. 20.01.2022 How beautiful is Melody's portrait last week? She was inspired by Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, and his painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring". Melody had lots of fun learning about CONTRAST, and mixing different skin tones for her shadows and highlights! Melody used CHALK to create the initial sketch of her painting - just like Vermeer! 20.01.2022 Last week's 'Eiffel Tower' pop up by our Mini Doodlers (ages 3-6 years old)! The kids learnt all about LANDMARKS and created one using a variety of geometric shapes. They added details like crosses using oil pastel! And yes, they do pop out of the pages! Some of them even turned them into greeting cards for their loved ones...
