23.01.2022 So off they go again. The Coppercoat on their hulls is the Coppercoat that was applied in preparation for the 2017-18 Clipper Round The World Race. Back then with Coppercoat on their hulls, it was the first time in the race history that the yachts did not have to be lifted mid-race for cleaning and new antifouling paint. New race records were also set with those slick Coppercoat bottoms. So another first for the race is now established - the hulls have not had to be antifouled prior to the new race. That Coppercoat protection is still there, and still workig from 2017, and going by the tens of thousands of Coppercoat treated boats around the world it will still be working for years to come.

20.01.2022 The Clipper Round The World fleet have completed their 40,000 mile race, and are now back in England out of the water with their clean Coppercoated hulls there for all to see. On another front, the Golden Globe Challenge race is at approximately the halfway mark for many competitors, and hearing of boats being lifted to be cleaned of fouling and needing new antifouling paint applied already, I thought it time to check on a test panel that has been in the water at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron for getting on to four years now - untouched since immersion, as the Clipper fleet were. The contrast in performance with Coppercoat is apparent for all to see - in England, and down at the RSAYS.

20.01.2022 And for those who wish to see the bottom close up, above is a video as lifted (sorry it was videoed in vertical format - that's all we have at the moment). That hull looks very familar to us, as it's pretty well what the hull on our own boat looked like when it was lifted last year - 6 years since application of Coppercoat from new.

16.01.2022 Another happy Coppercoat customer! While we supply a good number of boat owners in Australia, there is also quite a number who bring their Coppercoat treated boats to Australia along with their success stories. Welcome to Australia, and we might hear from you in another 10 years or so .

16.01.2022 We are delighted with the news that Wendy and her crew, managed a hometown (for Wendy) win into Sydney. Next Thursday as part of our Coppercoat Partnership Day, we, our Yaffa Media competition winners, and a select group of media and yachting industry professionals we have invited to join us, will be sailing on the winning yacht, Sanya Serenity Coast. Karen and I will also have the great pleasure of interviewing Wendy during our reception at the CYC. It's going to be a very special day!

12.01.2022 We keep hearing of not using Copper-based paint on aluminium etc. Here is just one more case of genuine Coppercoat being applied to provide a decade-plus protection system against fouling. Talk to the people who know their stuff, who use the product on their own boats. Coppercoat Australia is helping boat owners far and wide to save money and get more time on the water. Whether your boat is FRP, timber, aluminium, steel, or ferro - Coppercoat will change your boating forever!

12.01.2022 More and more service organisations are offering their customers the convenience, performance and substantial savings that Coppercoat can provide. With service life from one application of up to 27 years (so far ....), is it any wonder demand is growing year by year. Around Australia, around the world - the benefits of Coppercoat are being recognised far and wide, and one of the latest to offer Coppercoat is a long way from here, with Karpaz Gate Marina in Northern Cypress, ...now helping their customers save money with Coppercoat. From their latest newsletter: 'COPPER COATING AT KARPAZ GATE MARINA' "We are pleased to offer Coppercoat anti-fouling applications at the Karpaz Gate Marina Boatyard. Our technical team is experienced in applying Coppercoat, we have a 300-ton capacity travel lift and we can safely haul out boats up to 10.5m beam. Coppercoat has proved to be the most durable and long lasting anti-foul coating available, providing unrivalled underwater protection for sailing yachts and motor vessels. A single treatment of Coppercoat can provide fouling protection against unwanted marine growth for up to 10 years or more, saving valuable time and the cost of annual applications of traditional antifouling. The hard, smooth epoxy surface can be easily wiped clean of any slime improving hull speed and fuel efficiency. Our experts have come up with some helpful points about why boat owners should consider applying Coppercoat: Coppercoat is environmentally friendly. Being epoxy based, it is classified as non-eroding and causes less harm to the environment than conventional anti-foul paints. You should consider Coppercoat if: 1) You need to strip off old antifouling down to the gelcoat 2) Your hull needs another coat of epoxy barrier coating 3) You have a brand new boat with an unpainted bottom 4) You are planning to keep your boat in the water for more than 5 years Please contact our reception or technical team today for more details and to arrange your Coppercoat application." 11.01.2022 We have seen them in Sydney, we have seen them lifted back in the UK, now here is one of the skippers comments on Coppercoat. Spending time and money each year scraping and painting just makes no sense.

08.01.2022 A other example of saving time and money for a decade with a single application of Coppercoat

05.01.2022 Coppercoat is officially a world-beater ! Coppercoat continues to raise its profile, and more and more boat owners become aware of the time and money-saving advantages of using this environmentally-awarded product.
