18.01.2022 I love getting lost in the Botanical Gardens on Mt Tamborine, it's one of my favorite places to visit. I arrived early morning, with the rain falling softly. Holding one very large golf umbrella in one hand, camera in the other. This place always makes me feel welcome, the peace - birds - butterflies - bees fills your spirit. From the ripe young age 18 manger of remote properties in Queensland the closest town over 200km away, accommodation a old caravan where temperatures would reach over 40' day in day out. 11.01.2022 I was incredibly blessed to visit The Himalayan Kingdom of Ladakh, back in March 2020....Just before C-19 Words cannot explain the power and beauty of The Himalayas, it's a bucket list trip. On exploring the remote area, and I'm talking remote, and freezing cold - 10 during the day, and trust me no heating or hot chocolate stops.... One sight that will remain in my heart in this LIFE TIME, are the pilgrims in INDIA. Beautiful kind, generous SOULS dedicated to there beliefs. I capture this image from a far, as 2 Pilgrims wonder off, with there 108 prayers beads to....who knows? Purpose of pilgrimage for Hindus to fulfil a spiritual promise. to remember a relative who has died. to gain insight into stories of the gods and goddesses. to work towards liberation, or moksha. Hindus believe that the soul passes through a cycle of successive lives (samsara) and its next incarnation is always dependent on how the previous life was lived (karma). Moksha is the end of the death and rebirth cycle and is classed as the fourth and ultimate artha (goal). ... To know your Soul Purpose - Is a journey of self discovery. 08.01.2022 While traveling through Ladakh in INDIA " The Himalayan Kingdom we came across many Prayer Flags attached to Temples, Bridges, Rocks by about anything so the wind can catch them, and send the prayers out into the universe. A . Little more info below. The red, blue, yellow, white and green buddhist prayer flags represent elements like air, fire, water and earth. White symbolises air, red is fire. Green is water, yellow is earth, and blue is wind. They also represent direction...s North, South, East, West and CenterCenter .The flags don't carry mantras to the gods This is a common misconception: rather, the mantras printed on the flags are carried on the wind and believed to spread goodwill and positive energy wherever they go. There's more than one type of flag While the square-shaped, horizontally strung prayer flags are arguably the most common, they aren't the only variety of Tibetan prayer flag you'll see being used at sacred sites and on significant calendar dates. Those flags are called lung dar prayer flags. Flags that fly vertically, which are less common, are known as dar cho or dar chen flags.
