Cost: $950 Venue: Longerenong College (just outside Horsham) Uncover your bio-cultural stories of landscape & seeds via experimental mark-making, drawing, mixed media studies, smart-phone photography, fabric painting all focused on seed documentation. Through diverse lenses you’ll interpret seed forms, consider colours & layers in nature, working on paper, fabric and in artist books assembled from your observations. Abstracted seed forms expressed in varied approaches become contemporary yet timeless symbols, linking art across millennia. The facility has had lots of renovations over the last few years, so has excellent facilities, all airconditioned, and fantastic food!!! The workshops are 5 days, and the workshop fee ($950) includes lunch and evening meals, and after class activities/talks. On site accommodation in single rooms is $400 (6 nights).
