23.01.2022 My view yesterday Vs My view today. I promise I am getting to messages, but Tuesday we sat in Flinders while our 1yo had an MRI. MRI, easy. Except when an MRI for a 1yo includes general anaesthetic, followed by a lumbar puncture for him. This is 15months of trying to diagnose our son with a neurological condition so that the struggles he has in life have a name. I'm not someone bothered about a 'label' for Teddy. It doesn't change him! What it does, is gives us the ability to access therapies he needs to move his muscles and limbs properly. Something we have only had limited access to in the public system. All his Drs and Flinders staff have gone above and beyond to help this little guy, and right now this mornings beach view is my breathing space. With Teddy.

23.01.2022 GLUTEN FREE PASTRY. Correct, we have been making GF pies and spinach, pumpkin and cheese pasties for a couple of weeks now and have our pastry recipe pretty good! These will need to be ordered to collect cold to eat at home, or we will stock a small amount instore until they are popular. If you want it HOT, then we need notice to get it in the oven for you. 13.01.2022 A couple of cuties from a few weeks ago now! During School Holidays the shop is closed. If you already have an order then that is all fine, I'm working on orders only until reopening on the 21st July. I am still trying to get to all messages, but my son has a few important appointments so there is a delay. He is this happy little guy who is our entire world, but he does have a few medical issues that require lots of attention and with recent happenings, he sees Drs more o...ften than usual! 07.01.2022 Hi everyone. Back to usual hours and days next week! I am getting back to messages slowly! We have had 2 little girls home from school, and 1 baby boy loving his tribe home all day! Me and my husband I guess have been a weird kind of Lucky to have both not worked these past few days. Neither of us essential, neither of us paid to be home, nor working from home. (I caught up on some BAS stuff for work but that was boring!) We used this time to engage completely as a famil...y and it was just what we needed coming into a busy time of year! We know it wasn't easy for everyone, it wasn't nice to have all my orders and 2 weddings ripped away from me and my customers, but reflecting back personally, we had some great few days. Those following along, Our 18month old son was recently diagnosed with a rare disorder. Approx 150 WORLDWIDE diagnosed cases. So while he can look completely ok on the outside, he has his battles going on inside. We've used this lockdown to watch his new medication take effect, work with him to watch his movements and progress to a point where we can notice improvements and notice also, that his medication needs to increase too. This wouldn't of been possible while at work, but boy I can't wait to decorate a cake again!!! 04.01.2022 My eldest is 8 today!!! By the looks of it, we scraped in for a family party just before new 10people restrictions! This again will probably change a few cake orders, so please let me know asap if you need to change size, postpone or cancel. Taking Covid week by week at this stage, for everyone's safety. Those waiting on a chat or message, I did end up barely being able to walk last week due to back issues. I am working on getting in touch. I do apologise. 2020 isn't being kind, and just as we move through the year, something new knocks me down over and over. I always get back up and keep fighting though!!
