12.01.2022 What a difference 40mins can make! Sometimes we have to start with the most pressing concern for a patient so they they can smile again, then we can start fixing the other issues.

12.01.2022 Do you know someone who smiles with their mouth closed? To be honest it’s probably not something you notice but the persons is doing it for a reason. They are super embarrassed about their teeth. As part of our smile makeover process we usually get the person to smile. Often, we are met by the above. We get it it, it’s. A natural way of protecting yourself from judging eyes.... Usually on that first visit, it takes us to make the person say ‘EEEE’ to get an idea of the (potential) smile line. But looking through our before and after photos, these are the most satisfyingly. We’ve gone from smile/grimace showing no teeth to one showing teeth. And the final smile we take when they get their brand new teeth may not be perfect. It takes time to let themselves go and smile without self consciousness but it’s a start!
