Just come and visit our beautiful Sunshine Castle! OPEN for unlimited exploring! Monday-Saturday 9:30am-4:30pm Sunshine Castle is awakening! Conditions of Entry for our opening from 13 June 2020 From this coming weekend, we will introduce a new entry system to ensure we can open in line with Government restrictions and maintain the safety and well being of our customers and staff. Entries will need to be booked and paid for over the phone Bookings will become available from Monday 7June 2020 9:30am over the phone from 9am-3pm. If you wish to visit, please call us and pay over the phone to secure your session. Wench Hotline 07 5448 4477 For those who wish to try ‘walk-in’ entries on the day: You are welcome but please know that if we are at our new capacity we will not be able to offer you a spot. To avoid disappointment please pre-book your visit with us. Tickets are for a self-guided tour for the duration of 1 hour as follows: Saturday and Sunday: first self-guided tour starts 9:30am and last tour at 3:30pm Tuesday to Friday: start 9:30am last tour 2:30pm Mondays closed (except school holidays) Entries are NON REFUNDABLE and NON EXCHANGEABLE Upon booking, you will be required to leave your name, address and contact phone number this is required for COVID Safe tracing. We will take these details over the phone to limit time spent at the counter upon entry. On arrival we ask you to confirm that you don’t have fever or symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath), you have not returned from overseas in the last 14 days and have not been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the last 14 days. We will be enforcing a No BYO Food and Beverage Policy so that managing and maintaining Government restrictions is attainable. Personal water bottles are strongly encouraged and permitted. Our staff is here to help you enjoy your time with us. This is a very different way of trading for us and we ask that you be patient, kind and reasonable with what we have had to redesign and implement to reopen. We are hoping... for a casual we can train in the short term with a flexible permanent part time position available a few months into 2021 with extra during school holidays and to cover upcoming staff leave. Availability on weekends and school holidays and occasional evenings is therefore essential. We are happy to teach you the skills if you bring the right attitude and are a fast learner. Ideally you like people, have a love for serving customers but are also happy to get your hands dirty doing some of the less glamourous and tedious jobs that come along with a royal job. You should also know your way around the basics of a computer and be confident to work indepently after training. Being a small team we can work around the needs of students, parents and retirees as long as there is flexibility when the business really requires it. 04.01.2022 Castle Covid Update As you know our Toyshop has remained open with limited trading hours and received your love, with especially our puzzles and games flying of...f our shelves. Thank you for supporting us by shopping local. As we work towards ensuring your safety when we are able to reopen our self guided Castle tour and treasure hunt alongside all the other amusement facilities and museums in June, we have made the decision to keep our Cafe closed for now. On the bright side we will be allocating the limited number of guests allowed on site at our venue to the Castle tour visitors and toyshop customers. Take away Coffees remain a thing ;)!! As encouragement - everyone who comes to buy toys from Absolut Toys this month is gifted a 'support us' card for one free Castle entry if they come back with their families and friends in our first month back open as an attraction :) All further details will be announced as we work them out.
