In the property business, it can be applied to marketing, negotiations, relationship building with JV partners, conflict resolution, team performance and removing your obstacles to growth.... 18.01.2022 Start of another great week. It’s school holidays in Adelaide. I love this time - peak hour is easier. I’m happy that the curfew has been lifted for Victorians - it’s been very tough for them - my son Anthony says it’s been a struggle being cooped up. The only respite has been his daily walks. Let’s appreciate our freedoms.

17.01.2022 According to Alez Banayon, author of The Third Door, Success Is Like A Night Club...... " There's The First Door: The Main Entrance, where 99% of people wait in line, hoping to get in... The Second Door - the VIP Entrance, where the VIPs and the celebrities slip in...... No-one tells you that there is a Third Door. It's the entrances where you have to jump out of the line, run down the alley, bang on the door 100 times, crack open the window, sneak through the kitchen - there's always a way to get in. You can choose to be in a queue with everyone else and wait or take a chance and take a different path.

07.01.2022 Adelaide Market Update Corelogic have released some very useful insights into the Property Market nationally along with a specific Adelaide segment which demonstrates that our Market is relatively stable at the moment. Sometimes it pays to be boring! Best Offer By ?... I went to an open inspection on Wednesday, having taken note that the due date for the Best Offer By was displayed online & on the FOR SALE sign as the 23rd September. Plenty of time to do my due diligence, or so I thought! On arrival it was evident that the property was very popular. The Street was jam packed with cars and people were coming and going. The Agent was attentive to all but was in a deep discussion with a couple at the entrance. I overheard what sounded like talk of a bidding process. After going through the Inspection, I approached the Agent who explained that the Best Offer By conditions had changed. She said that since the 1st Open the previous Saturday, she had received 17 offers already and they decided to change the BOB date to 1.00pm tomorrow! When I mentioned that the original date was still displayed online and on the Sign out the front, The Agent essentially said 17 birds in the hand are worth more than another fortnight of tyre kickers. The EOI process was like Ebay - you could put in as many bids before the Friday 1 pm deadline but only up to 10am you could see your bid ranking. Great news for the Vendor, as following a building Inspection by the successful bidder, the Contract was signed today after just 1 week on the Adelaide Market! So Adelaide is hotting up - few properties on the market and lots of buyers looking for properties.

We also had a look at iridologist and the power of the body to heal itself. I’m loving the wisdom of these great business leaders. All living life by design.
