21.01.2022 Ok guys, the first trip dates have been confirmed for early November. This is a 10 day tour to the Coral Sea. Departs Saturday 8th November 2014 Returns Tuesday 18th November 2014... The trip will be run in the same manner as the previous 18 years, Luke from Frog Dive had it down to a finely tuned machine and I will endeavour to provide the same top service and the best opportunities to put you on the fish, with the help of some of Australia's best guides and a quality crew. The vessel is the Eastern Voyager, a finely appointed and very seaworthy craft, making that long steam to the hunting grounds as comfortable as possible. Total cost of the trip will include 3 meals a day consisting of a varied menu including a cooked breakfast every morning, snacks and beer(there is usually ample left over for the long steam home!) with lunch and dinner, Air conditioned saloons with ample space, all fish are filleted to your liking after each session, all gear rigging and repairs each night, amongst a whole heap of free gear and tuition on how and where to hunt some of the heavyweights of the ocean. Cost will be around the same as this years trip, with final costing given during the week. Targeted species will include Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Jobfish, GT's, Emperors but to name just a few. Guides will be announced before Xmas. I will be taking numbers and there is a possibility of a second trip, almost directly after this one, if the response dictates so. Naturally this comes down to a first in, best dressed scenario once the deposits are due. There is usually a queue of eager divers ready to replace anyone not able to pay in full by the due date. I will have a more accurate idea about deposit and payment dates, but plan for a 30% deposit at the end of January and payment in full before the end of financial year. A strict payment schedule will need to be adhered to, this will ensure you don't miss out on diving some of the most remote reefs on the Australian east coast. A 7 day trip is available to the Swain Reefs and a chance to push to Saumarez if the weather permits, this trip will be late Sept. Departs Saturday 27th September 2014 Returns The Saturdays 4th October 2014 As you know, the only thing that we cannot control is the element of weather. We will do all we can to ensure maximum time in the water, but the chance of a bad weather trip is a possibility. Over the next few weeks this page will be updated regularly with final costings and details provided.
