24.01.2022 Faith in adversity We are so blessed. Stories like this, remind us just how fortunate we are. https://www.facebook.com/100001757218719/posts/2852929114775634/?

24.01.2022 What a wonderful afternoon filming our nativity play! So lovely to have an awesome turnout from both congregations-young and old (er) Thanks, everyone. Feeling blessed and just grateful we could do something ‘normal ‘ again.

16.01.2022 We are able to worship in our buildings again, within the Covid guidelines. There will be some modifications but at least we can meet and worship together! You can sit with your family, but we’ll be social distancing from family to family. We’ll have communion, but only the bread -and we encourage you to stand at the altar so we minimise touching of the rails. Greeting of the peace will be modified and we’ll have heaps of hand sanitizer... but these are all small prices to... pay, to keep us safe and allow us to worship our God together. Pray for Victoria and give thanks we are in such a healthy situation currently.

15.01.2022 Last Saturday morning we had our first Western Region Ministry Conference using Zoom! We drew from Psalm 137 and asked ourselves how we have been singing the L...ord’s song in the ‘strange land’ of COVID disruption. We had conference teaching sessions, small group work, and the opportunity to hear from three parishes through video interviews. Here’s the first interview with Rick Gummow who serves the three collaborating parishes (Cunnamulla, Charleville, and Mitchell) of the Maranoa-Warrego Anglican Mission Area

12.01.2022 I just cannot imagine how many people across our world are grieving because of Covid 19. Peace be with everyone who is grieving. It personally truly hurts my heart to think about the millions of people who are being impacted by this virus. Pray for those who are sick. Pray for the mourning. Give thanks we are safe and pray, in earnest, that we may be protected. ... God is with us, even in the darkness. Shine Jesus; Shine https://www.oikoumene.org//resourc/documents/covid-19/pray

11.01.2022 Please pray for Matthew Skelton as he commits his life, through ordination as deacon in the Anglican Church, to the service of God and His people, this morning at 10am at St John’s Cathedral. We also pray for Matt’s wife, Ellie and sons Thomas and Daniel, as they grow together in their ministry and mission in our combined parish. We will endeavour to share a link to allow everyone to enjoy this very special occasion.

Please volunteer. There’s a script. It’ll be filmed in short bursts so it won’t be too much to remember in one hit. It’s an inter generational activity!!!!!!! It’s not just kids! ... We have most of the costumes. It really requires your afternoon of acting. Come and join in the fun! Please contact Monika through Facebook or ring 0438893282.
