24.01.2022 Due to the massive response to 2021 POD announcements there are some delays in responding to all the inquiries. Please be a little patient with us as we are a small team who are also spending a lot of energy working through the landmine of legal and regulatory responsibilities. 16.01.2022 An exciting opportunity is available for any registered teachers with an ABN, to become part of the Acacia Connected Education team. We are looking for energetic nature loving teachers to help run the three learning pods that will begin in 2021. The positions are part time at this stage. 12.01.2022 We are sorry for the delays in getting the 2021 Learning POD's up and running. We are trying to accommodate as many families as we can, and the logistics are getting a little complex. We feel it is better to delay them and get it right rather than rush ahead and mess it up. 08.01.2022 As we plan for 2021 and the Acacia Bush POD's are gaining momentum, we are gathering expressions of interest and registration details for a POD in the Southern Suburbs,could this be for your family? Our POD's are one day a week in different locations around Adelaide, and are support for those who home school or "unschool". We are currently looking at the area between Blackwood and Kuitpo as a rough guide, although the day and location is yet to be decided. We have some interested families, and an educator on board, and it would be helpful to have a rough idea of numbers and ages of children. 07.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who helped make this terms learning pod a beautiful experience. The families, the staff and all the people that had worked behind the scenes. Thank you Niki Buchan for the beautiful photos. We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Not only did the children learn from the experience, but all involved learned. From how to dodge hopper ants, to how to create a peaceful learning experience that could connect people to people and people to nature. We are taking everything we learnt from this experience, and will be creating new experiences in 2021 that will connect our growing community with nature and each other.
