17.01.2022 In education and care services face masks are not required when teaching and caring for children. However, staff are required to wear face masks when not worki...ng with children in shared common areas of the service (e.g. reception, staff rooms and foyers, or when providing first aid). Parents and carers are required to wear face masks when inside the service. It is highly recommended that parents and carers wear face masks outside when physical distancing of 1.5 metres can’t be maintained.
