20.01.2022 Clever under stairs solution This photo was taken by Vince the installer after the job's completion. These spaces are very hard to use efficiently and in many cases, are completely enclosed by plaster board walls. If enclosed, Academic can remove these boards and use this valuable space by coming up with beautiful and practical designs like this one. This particular example did not need plaster board removal and was designed by Denise.

20.01.2022 Two tone colour Wall Unit This photo was taken by Javier the installer just after completion. It consists of a Polytec woodgrain colour with white polyurethane painted doors. The space under the air-conditioning unit was left empty in order to hang a large television on the wall.

17.01.2022 Two tone Shaker style wall unit. Shaker style doors have been used for hundreds of years and as a result, blend in very well with traditional style décor. That said ,their understated simple clean lines are also a perfect match to many contemporary designs. This photo was taken by Javier just after installation.

16.01.2022 Walk in wardrobe featuring Academic Trouser rack. Our Trouser rack is very different to what is currently available in the market. It can be pulled out like any other trouser rack , but unlike your ordinary trouser rack , our product fans out increasing the distance between trousers. As there is no contact between the pair you wish to remove and the ones beside it, removing and rehanging trousers is an effortless task

14.01.2022 Moulded recess panelled drawers and doors This example was photographed by our installer Tony just after installation. Not withstanding being a new wardrobe, it successfully blends in with the style of the home combining modern practicality and function with the style of days gone by. California Bungalow and Federation style homes are renown for their very high ceilings and this room is no exception. As a result, picture rails are usually as much as 2.4 metres in height. By making the wardrobe height no taller than the picture rail, Martin, the designer, was able to achieve a workable design which does not clash with the geometry and balance of the ornate cornices and decorations of the ceiling.

12.01.2022 White wall unit The smooth white cabinets either side of the fire place provide a nice contrast to the more rugged focal point which is the stone work that houses the fire place. The cool whiteness of the cabinets also enhances the lovely warm colour of the stained timber floor. This lovely example was installed by Javier.

11.01.2022 SALICE Swivelling Clothes hanger rail. This is perfect for those moments when you would like see what to wear. Simply hang your garment , step back and decide. This clever devise will swivel back under the shelf when no longer in use.

02.01.2022 Ultra Modern entertainment unit

01.01.2022 Polytec woodgrain colours are proving to be an extremely popular alternative to the standard white normally used in wardrobe internals. The range is enormous! This guarantees you will find a colour that suits your decor. Academic can design a wardrobe in any of the available colours by special order, as it is impossible for us to stock such a large range. The good news, is that we decided to stock Natural Oak Matt which is probably the most popular woodgrain colour Polytec makes. As it is purchased in bulk, this particular colour is now offered at a price that is a lot less expensive than the other colours in the same range.
