22.01.2022 Found an easier way for you guys to access the booking system! Instead of heading to our website or social accounts to book we have what they call a ‘one touch access’ and it’ll take you straight to our classes . Unfortunately the booking system we’re with doesn’t have an app - but hopefully this option is a lot more efficient for you guys! This one is for iPhones, I think the steps are similar for androids just the icon in the first photo is different. 17.01.2022 HOW TO TRAIN TRICEPS WITH NO EQUIPMENT! TRICEP EXTENSIONS This exercise is for people who can do dips against a bench or chair already for 10-20 reps 1. Push up plank position, engaging core... 2. Hands shoulder width apart and in-line with your face (to make it easier, move hands higher/further from face) 3. Bend arms slowly at the elbow joint until elbows touch the ground, then push your palms into the ground and extend both elbows 4. Aim for 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps #TheAcademyOfCalisthenics

14.01.2022 HOW TO LUNGE PROPERLY I see a lot of people in the gym doing this exercise wrong and to make matters worse they do it with either dumbbells or a barbell on their back, increasing the risk of damage and injury on the knee joint It's important to get the form and technique correct, then focus on control and explosiveness! ... Always remember: 2 GOOD REPS without weight is better then 10 crappy reps with dumbbells!

09.01.2022 Push ups are BREAD AND BUTTER in our classes, and this is why the plank is important! A lot of 'gym experts' say that the plank is a waste of time. Yes, if you are focused solely on building muscle, looking 'big', trying to be MR OLYMPIA then the plank isn't as beneficial to you as it is to others. That does not mean that you should discredit or underestimate it by any means, it is simply a tool in the toolbox that is used for a different purpose.
